Prenatal/Gentle Yoga Practice 

Prenatal/Gentle yoga will focus on honoring and ritualizing this special time in our lives. Classes will build upon postures that relieve tension and help to maintain our strength.  Meditations and reflections will assist us in connecting with ourselves and the baby growing inside us. This class can be designed for individual practice, group and family.  It is perfect for mothers and partners-to-be as well.  Accommodations are happily made to suit your individual, group or family needs.   This is a mindful, peaceful practice for the individual participant, community-building for groups and bonding for families.

 

Bellies, Backs and Bottoms

BBB will focus on the center of our bodies.  Beyond being a “core” class, BBB will aim to educate our minds on common dysfunctions that occur with aging and childbearing and reeducate our bodies on how we move.  Perfect for anyone who feels that a general yoga class may be too demanding on their backs and for women who’s bellies (& bodies!) have “never been the same” since they gave birth.

BBB may be just what you are looking for to reestablish strength, reintroduce movement and relearn living with (& maybe even loving) your body.
